New Classroom management course launched

Helping you develop your classroom management skills

We launched our new Classroom Management training programme this week with an extremely popular workshop from educational psychologist Rob Long. The session covered key issues with student behaviour in colleges and universities and included strategies for developing the way your students learn, behave and relate to each other. Sandra from South Thames College said:
“It was practical, accessible and the tools provided made it easy for me to apply to my current role.  I also felt Rob’s approach is current and not just theoretical. As a teaching and learning coach I will be highlighting the behaviour aspect to the teachers in future training. The afternoon was organised well; with adequate breaks and good opportunity to network.  Overall, an excellent course that made me eager to get back into the workplace to implement what I had learnt.”
The response to the new CPD programme has been fantastic and the London Region course on Classroom Management was over-subscribed within a couple of hours of registration opening so please look out for future courses coming to your region soon. We also have a range of free online resources that you can access here: http://cpd.web.ucu.org.uk/free-downloadable-guides/classroom-management/
